Jeeves asked:
I have fished avidly for years and am tired of paring to have my reels lined when I want to change lb test, what is the easiest way to reline my spinner reel?

Lay the spool flat on ground and reel it in with line between fingers to tighten it, any other way will cause problems!
Lay your spool of line flat on the floor then run your line through your guides. Flip your bail open and tie your line to spool. Then flip your bail back over. note; if you flip your bail over by hand each time, it saves the life of your reel…just make it a habit…
Ok..now reel some line on and check your line spool and see if the line is coming off nice and easy or kinky. If it is kinky flip line spool over and keep reeling.
Remember not to over fill your spool on your reel….
Link will give ya’ a visual approach at doin’ it (video), the only variation of it that I would suggest is to place new spool on the floor with the brand label facin’ up when spoolin’/reelin’ line in;)… < * { {{ > <
Note: Gentleman doin’ the video has a’ STRONG accent but just by watchin’ I’m sure you’ll get by it;)…
Note: May be a’ good idea to purchase a’ couple of extra spools for your particular reel and pre-spool them for your different # test line’s ~ least that’s what I do, n’ then just throw them in one of the tackle box’s…
